M12 Gold Switch

Next to the Jcat power supply is the M12 switch .1 pair of DC cables beautifully made supplied with Jcat Optimo. So far the biggest improvement i heard is when Jcat PSu was inserted into the set up . Jcat Signature Gold is equally impressive in 3 systems . Next upgrade- N&E Fiber Box 2 ( & extreme in another syst) & Daiza Platform

Very nice set up, thank you for sharing the pictures. Couple of questions: what brand of the DC cables and could you share where you got them from? Secondly what is the equipment next to the power supply unit? Thanks
U meant the equipment circled in Blue? Thats Trinity Preamplifier ( corrected)

I have a Roon nucleus plus server. The voltage range is given as 12 to 19 V. If my Uptone Audio J2 is working with Room nucleus IWould imagine so would the optimo 3 If it has a 12 V output...?

As I already wrote in the email, the Optimo 3 Duo does not have enough current topower the Nucleus+. It may be ok for the standard Nucleus, but definitely not for the Nucleus+.

The JS-2 has 5A current that's why it works with the Nucleus+. The Optimo 3 Duo, as the model name suggests, can output 3A.

I hope that's clear.

Marcin

A demo pair of my Sablon M12 signal cables are now on their way to Asia. Should any Gold switch owning members in the region wish to book an audition slot, then kindly drop me a PM / email. Singapore is first in line, then Hong Kong next month.

Hi Marcin:
Just to be clear, a JS-2 (fed 120/240V) can produce 7.4 amps at 12V all day long--and not be more than warm. At lower 220V AC input we guarantee 5A @ 12V.

BTW, I really like the look of your Optimo 3. I've had faceplate prototypes here (that I made for some future project) with the same 45-degree edge profile on a thick plate. Now I may have to do some other design to be different! ;)

Cheers,

Thank you Alex!

Double M12 switch coming this way soon . Currently 2 Jcat Signature Lan Gold connector to Jcat Net isolator .
Hmm not sure I like the isolator. Even though it sounded clearer with the Net Isolator but it seems to thin the sound . Well let see whether Jcat Primo can enhance it further. OTW from Poland . More fun time

That looks very nice. Thank you for sharing.
I'd recommend using the net isolator between the router and the m12 switch.

Marcin

Did you screw the switch onto the platform?
A friend syst . Yes , need to be screwed onto the platform otherwise the cables would have pulled it sideway

Before anyone asks for listening impressions of octuple switches daisy chained together, I should tell you that these have been shipped!

Mark, this is not fair, to put it mildly. I have the exclusive right to sell Telegaertner Japan Limited in Europe. You have not even contacted me to get a quote and I am working with dealers. Instead, you go behind me back and source the m12 switches from one of the distributors outside of EU.

Above that, you hikack this thread to advertise your products. I'd appreciate that you post these comments in your own thread in the cable section since you're not an official distributor of Telegaertner Japan Limited.

Best regards,

Gentleman, there is something to be said here. Firstly, Marcin I do agree with your assertion that you have the exclusive rights to sell Telegartner Japan in Europe. I do know how much effort and leg work is required to become an exclusive distributor. Having said that, I would like to make a point here. The issue that I am having wrapping my head around is the fact that you cannot just buy the switch by itself. The cables are bunched together in the package and the price stays the same even if you do not want them. What I would definitely appreciate, and I imagine some of the other customers as well, is to be able to buy this which without the cables for a lesser amount. That way, if a customer wants a high end capable like the M12x, he should have the option to do so. I just found out about a dealer in Hong Kong who sells the switch for a lesser price and sells the M12 X cable separately. I wish I had known that earlier. Please try to make it easy for your customers. We have spoken over the phone on a number of occasions and it has been a pleasure dealing with you. I just gave you my 2 cents worth and it is up to you to give it a careful thought. I think that way you will not feel that others are hijacking your sale; because you are opening doors for others to offer better deals
