M12 Gold Switch

This will be very interesting. Thank you in advance for sharing Musiclvr.

I think you may have gone to the manufacturer’s website which is in Chinese. This is a supplier and a retailer and I can paste the link for you again. It definitely won’t need a linear power supply because it has a regular IEC AC inlet for use with a regular power cord. Very sophisticated but I like simplicity of construction: LAN in and LAN out.

Thanks for the link and very interesting.

I'm confused that there is no mention of the power supply though. All these devices (EtherRegen, OpticalModule, sNH-10G) really scale with a great PSU. This with the OXCO clocks would presumably be very sensitive to power supply. Yet they don't mention it.

In terms of performance I'm wondering how it compares to an oM to ER optical run.

Sorry for the OT post.

Cheers,
Alan

Where did you place the Fiber Box II Extreme in your system? Before or after the switch? Did you try it in more than one location?

edgerouter > EtherStream switch > FB > M12.> DAC. Still experimenting

Does anybody think that having an inexpensive edge router which cost between $50-$100 in buying a wireless access point with it for about $150 is a much better way to go than the latest generation Wi-Fi routers that cost upwards of $400? I know this is what Marcin does

In my opinion, the impact on sound is greatly defined by m12 switch gold wiith the optimo 3 duo power supply as it's closest to the hi-fi system.

Router choice is still audible, but it has much lower effect.

Once you receive the optimo 3 duo and the signature lan cable gold m12x, you will find out what I mean.

Regards,
Marcin

Congratulation @audioblazer , Your impression and thoughts will be appreciated.
Would be great if its mine. Belong to a friend. Currently used as Roon Core & yet it sounded analog like. Waiting for it to be configured for Lan in & LAN out to CH Dac.
However , his awesome Airforce one Premium is awesome but the gap is closing
