Munich show 2023 Hifideluxe and MOC .

These very open Raal ribbon ear phones are decent and very unusual to look at and use.

$3500. In the scheme of things good value I thought. Not dissimilar sounding to my Apogees. In fact, quite similar.

They should there panels
I’ve tried these a few times I always stoped due to room noises and the need to have an exp amp for them.
They sounded just like my infinity IRS V do not kidding

I spend the last 1.5 hours in the viva horns viva and viva /vyger room and the Fm Acoustics room.

Fm Acoustics is the best/ most natural afaik.
After hearing a clean Joe cocker album on the vertere tt .
Very nice tt.

This new speaker by Cyrstal Cable is VERY interesting:

TL;DR: it has a passive-active crossover, meaning it uses a buffer stage that replaces plenty of crossover parts (yet the speakers still use a traditional passive crossover, just very reduced) for the entire frequency range. This reportedly gives a less reactive impedance and increased sensitivity. The specifications are 16 ohms/95db 0_0.

To clarify, it doesn't use an amp to power the bass, it has a current gain buffer to help the amplifier of your choice driving the speaker.

I'm impressed by this. Very, very smart solution. Shame it is so small tho, I wish they built an upscale version with a real woofer (10"+ inch) ;)

Regarding videos
I have made several video's, but im getting a bit tired of them.
I m only able to upload them next week as i dont have a laptop with me , and it almost starts to look like work , lol
And besides that what is the point , i dont need to convert anybody .
Listen for yourself and buy what you like ..
Thats what i do.
Everybody hears differently , you dont like what i like and vice versa.
Listening to an actual system says much more then a vid

I have planned to visit hifideluxe as well but I must say that cancelling the visit of this show is more appealing to me than missing the time to visit some manufacturer at the MOC I find more interesting. I think I need Saturday and Sunday for the MOC. Usually the mood and sound is best on Sunday.

Matt

Very nice. Do you sell them to Australia?

Yeah the ambient show noise was a serious problem. Take that issue away in a quiet environment and they would be really good. Had a great chat with the guy that makes them.
