I like this deal ........

I became a fan watching Jackson in the playoffs this year

Clippers reportedly bringing back Reggie Jackson

I find it a good thing when a player returns to his designated team for the final year of his career. Iggie is truly a class player

Reports: Andre Iguodala finishing career with Warriors
The veteran forward played for Golden State from 2013-19, earning Finals MVP honors in 2015 while helping the Warriors earn the title.

Schoerder turned down a 4 yr $84m deal from the Lakers, and is being offered $9m a year for the mid level exception. It would be the first truly good move of Brad Stevens.

Looks like someone wants to leave the Lakers really badly
Excellent chance for the Celtics. I hope it pans out accordingly

He actually wanted to stay BUT only if he becomes more involved with the ball and play making decisions. I liked him but far from the best point guard in the league. Some felt he had an overinflated feeling about his abilities

Delusions of grandeur from the peanut gallery

These old timers need seeing eye dogs. They are dubbed the "banana boat". This is not going to be a Cinderella story

Carmelo Anthony: 'Championship on my mind'

This is why I was anti-Carmelo for so long - he was NOT a team player when he was with Denver at the beginning of his career. His former coach at that time, George Karl, just called him out.

As a 35 year Knick season ticket holder I saw a lot of Melo. He's among the top five who ever played for them. George Karl has always been a jerk, running up the score on people to show them up when he had the few opportunities to do so. He was a mediocre ABA player, washed out NBA player, and, IMHO, always jealous of talent when he coached it. He's been a Melo detractor for as long a I can remember. He was a middling coach and the last I looked, Karl never won anything. Melo is a first ballot hall of fame player with astounding offensive numbers over a very long career. He was the best college player in the country during his one year of playing at that level. Melo's career would've looked a whole lot better if he even once had an all-star caliber shooter who could've knocked down shots when Melo passed to him.

Knick were great with Carmelo.

Looking back over the past -4 seasons the Lakers have given up some terrific young talent who are excelling on other teams. Had it not been for the addition of LeBron and the “we must win now” mentality, they have traded the farm for last years ring. Their last chance at it is this year with a bunch of old men. most of whom are on a one year contract Had they stood Pat they would have had a great team of young players. Only one they have now is Talen Horton Tucker who IMO has great promise

Schroder will be wearing Green. Hopes he turns our a better fit than Kyrie and Kemba.

I think the lesson here is that pigs get fat but hogs get slaughtered

One year $5.9 million is a long way to fall from 4 years and $80 million + the Lakers offered.

Hope he recovers next time around. He'll definitely be motivated to perfrom well for the Celtics.

He's a likable kid and a good player. He's a team player. When he's on his game he can make 3's but he's not always on his game. He has speed and can thread the needle. Our loss, your gain
