It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Lilliard if the Blazers are nothing much at mid season. I don’t think they want to trade him (or will) unless he forces the issue and they have to get value for him while they can.
TBH I’m surprised he’s still in Portland. They fired their coach and have a player friendly young coach but where’s his help. He deserves a shot at a title IMO. The Nets should swap Kyrie for Lillard. That would be a Net’s dynastyIt’ll be interesting to see what happens with Lilliard if the Blazers are nothing much at mid season. But shipping Kyrie out will upset KD. Kryrie was the one who recruited KD in the dugout of an all-star game, forming the Recruitment Part II. The game is all about BFFs, like even Tatum and Beal are 'telling' the world that they are BFF.TBH I’m surprised he’s still in Portland. Yeah, and I also highly doubt the Blazers want anything to do with Kyrie -- not exactly the culture guy you want to build around. I think Kyrie, whether the Nets would want to or not, is untradeable. .But shipping Kyrie out will upset KD. You're probably correct Rob. In spite of all those things I have to admit that when Kyrie is sane and healthy and on his game, he has a mid range jumper that hits almost 100% of the timeYeah, and I also highly doubt the Blazers want anything to do with Kyrie -- not exactly the culture guy you want to build around. I think Rondo's going to be a coach sooner rather than later.OK, here's a little more info on why the Clips did the deal. Makes more sense now. Pat Bev had value but Rondo and Oturo, not so much. Per Bobby Marks, Clippers get a trade exception and cut tax bill by $30mm.
Good deal in my mind. Savings plus end up with a better player (I think)

$8.3M Trade Exception for LAC
MEM -
Patrick Beverley: $14.3M Rajon Rondo: $7.5M ($750K likely bonus) Daniel Oturu: $1.5M
Good luck to his team. Fans in Dallas still boo'd him when he played there. Can't forget that barking incident with Coach Carlisle years ago. To me, only the worse disrespectful act would be Robert Horry throwing a towel in the face of his coach in Phoenix.I think Rondo's going to be a coach sooner rather than later.

Definitely. He was suspended for some period and Mugsy Bogues in an interview said he witnessed the event in the gym. That act of Sprewell could have turned 'criminal' had PJ died from it.Ho
How about Latrell Sprewell choking and punching Warriors coach PJ Carlesimo in 1997. That has to rank right up there with the worst.
How about Ron Artest ( Metta World Peace) in the big brawl in the stands in 2004. Huge suspensionHo

I remember someone told me in a summer camp pick up game with MJ, he broke the ribs of MJ.How about Ron Artest ( Metta World Peace) in the big brawl in the stands in 2004. Huge suspension
Artest was said to be the strongest player in the league
