Celtics lose to Knicks on just second 2 missed foul shots by Brown. Knicks$is quite strong and I'm suprised they have an average win loss record.
Adam Silver is only the second most powerful man on the leagueSad to say, one man cares and he's the most powerful man in the league. Adam Silver.
Adam Silver: LeBron James’ scoring record to be broadcast globally
People across the world will get to see LeBron James surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the NBA's all-time leading scorer whenever it happens.sports-yahoo-com.cdn.ampproject.org
I noticed that all 2 losses of the C's are without Smart. The guy is their leader and is needed down the stretch in close games specially. But the last loss to the Knicks is clearly due to Brown's missed 2 free throws, they would have won by 1.Interesting stat today. With Celts on a 3 game losing streak but still having best record in NBA, they are now only 1/2 game ahead of Denver
who do you root for this time Steve? Lakers or Celtics?Celtics-Lakers is a must watch for me today but I think the best game will be Nuggets vs Sixers
Thanks Steve. I will feel exactly the same way as you, had the supposed most powerful man in the league joined the Celtics. I heard he's a Celtics buster so that's a good thing as he'll never join the Celtics despite wearing the number 6 which is retired across the league. I should believe he'll want to have Silver the second most powerful man retire his number too but wait, which is his number? 23 or 6? And what is his team identity? Lol. I agree with what you said about Kareem. Easily a candidate for GOAT talk in my books. I believe his record should not be smeared by an individualistic opportunist like LeBron. It's a shame that it will be happening. You know I’m a die hard Lakers fan who has been turned off by the direction this perennial favorite to win it all team has gone. They have given up their entire next generation Lakers to pander to a person who is soon to get global TV coverage when he breaks Kareem’s scoring record. I could care less. To me Kareem coming from the Bucks to the Lakers was a better acquisition than LeBron coming from Cleveland . How many rings does LeBron have and how many does Kareem have. Kareem never made demands of management to trade for players he wanted by his side. IMHO there is no comparison. Kareem was always the silent and humble great player that he was. The game is what counts. I’d be shocked if Lakers win but Celt’s have lost recently to much lesser teams. I’m more than anything happy for Phil because in all the years this thread has gone on Phil has been a steadfast Celtics fan.
