New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Wow , Phil

i didn’t see the game but was shocked that they lost in OT. I guess I’m still used to only a few great teams playing for it all Nowadays so many good teams that are going, fast and can shoot 3’s.

also today the Pels continue to improve as they beat a hot Sacramento team by 36 points.

Yeah, Steve, foul shots killed them. Holiday missed 2 free throws that would have iced the game in regulation. Then Tatum missed the last of 3 free throws that would have tied it and send it to 2 overtimes. That's basically the story. Lol

well FWIW the Celts are still first in the power rankings so this is a mere blip in the great scheme of things.I still feel the finals n the EC go through Boston. It's theirs to lose

This is a 'first'.

The Cavs stay hot and lead at the half in Philadelphia 65-53

There just aren't any games where you can say "this is a given". So many upsets so far

Nuggs seem to be a different team with Murray out. He's strong at what he does. He's missed

I have to admit that watching the Lakers in the In Season tournament, they are a different team as they play at full throttle. Last night the Lakers clinched their Group with a 4-0 record. Watching the games, none of it could have happened without the play of th oldest man in the league You all know Im not a fan, but I have to give credit where credit is due....at age 39 he is literally carrying the Lakers in every game. The Lakers drawbacks to date is that the club is still to 100% with injured payers sitting out. Turnovers is their biggest nemesis but the younger players seem to get better with every game

I have also grown to like Darwin Ham as Coach and it also seems the players really cozy up to hims @Dimfer, if they make it to the finals in Las Vegas I'll meet you there as I will likely go as well

on e last comment about the Lakers that is going to make @christoph and @jadis choke on their breakfast cereal. As I have said many times, my favorite player on the Lakers is Austin reaves who to me is destined for fame. What Isee in Reaves at this point in his career is the same sort of player Steph Curry was in his earlier years. I believe Reaves has so much potential that the I see him making such impossible shots, the image of Steph Curry comes to mind.....just saying....;)

Tonight is the big one Phil.....Celtics vs Bucks in their first matchup this season. It should be a trophy game no matter who wins. Celts are my bet but the unknown factor is Lillard This was a thoughtfully written comparison....

5 takeaways on Celtics & Bucks before 1st matchup of the season

The top 2 teams in the East — Boston and Milwaukee — will match up for the 1st time this season on Wednesday.

Milwaukee is getting clobbered in Boston as the Celtic are playing like true champs. I would have to think Tatum would be on the Kia ladder for MVP during the year

Celtics 67-53

Thrilling game in Orlando as they beat the Nuggets. I just learned that the Magic have the number defense in the league. That surely translates into wins.

The Magic are my Cinderella team this year. They are going to be around at the end

Beating the Nuggs is no small task. I watched the Magic destroy the Lakers earlier this season

What a finish as Celtics hang tough at the end

Final Celtics 119-116
For a while there, I thought the Bucks would go on to close the gap and the C's would miss free throws. Good thing they practiced the FTs. :D

I chanced upon the Spurs Clippers game and saw Pop taking the microphone of the refs and telling the home crowd to lay off booing Kawhi each time he touches the ball. But the crowd continued to boo Kawhi. LOL

The Wolves are another for real team. IMO last year was their break out year. I think they beat the Lakers each time they played but tonight they put the hurt on the Sixers who lose 112-99
