New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

This is like saying to people that they still need to be vaccinated even if they have had COVID. Crazy world but IMO there is no need for CP3 to be quarantined because he has been vaccinated

My first thought was a false positive for CP3.

But have to figure they already administered a second test to be certain.

He has a few days before the Suns play again so he could get back on the court by next game.

Clippers make official announcement - Kawhi is out for game 5 with sprained knee.
I've also read his status is "indefinite"

Clippers' Kawhi Leonard (knee) out indefinitely, will miss Game 5 vs. Jazz
Leonard appeared to injure his right knee in the closing minutes of Game 4 against the Jazz.

As a doctor I am puzzled by the NBA position on quarantining a player who has positive tracers or even has symptoms of COVID even though the player has even vaccinated

IMO there is no reason to keep CP3 out of the conference finals. However with the Clippers/Jazz tied 2-2 this series

Here is all I know.......

In March, the league also relaxed some of the protocols that were put into place last fall, doing so in response to players and coaches choosing to receive the vaccine that protects against the coronavirus.

But the NBA also cautioned at that time that “if an individual has symptoms consistent with COVID-19, the previous protocols apply” — which would still mean that anyone with those symptoms “may be subject to quarantine” regardless of their vaccination status

I saw that, too. Sounds to me like he's not planning on playing in these playoffs.

Not in a position to judge the severity of the injury....

I think the NBA in this shortened season of l72 games and to keep the timeline has literally had these guys playing every other day and many back to backs etc. I’m not surprised that there have been so many injuries many of which have been season ending and affecting possible outcomes as well as standings etc. I hope for some normalcy next season.

from Bleacher Report ….,,

Leonard right knee injury. This is a bummer on so many levels, if only because it’s contributing to a rash of serious injuries affecting important players — and therefore harming the postseason product on the floor. Leonard appeared to have tweaked his knee in a non-contact moment late in Game 4 against the Jazz, stayed in the game momentarily, then sat on the bench, never to return. The Clippers were comfortably ahead at the time, but still, his self-benching raised eyebrows. Kawhi dismissed the topic of the knee in interviews after the game, which lowered concerns. But less than two days later, Leonard was ruled out of Game 5 in Utah with no timetable for a return. And then came a report later that the Clippers fear the injury could be an ACL tear. The team didn’t release any medical information as of mid-day Wednesday. But this is never a good sign.

Steve Ballmer is in Slovenia with Luka now. Claims a deal is done for Luka to join the Clippers.

That is the reason Donnie Nelson was fired.

Saw this on the internet so it must be true.

Another incoming shock for Doc and the Sixers, now down by 1 after having a 26 pt lead.

and They are in Philadelphia

Embiid misses two free throws with 10 seconds left

Hawks prove the Sixers are vulnerable and that they are ready for prime time. So many unexpected things going on in these playoffs

Suddenly Sixers have no field goals, and even Embiid missed 2 foul shots.
