New Stax flagship?

Not sure I like the looks with exposed screws visible.
I’ll look forward to hearing them in the future though and see if there’s a marked improvement over the “s”

I have Stax 009s which I enjoy its nuanced details and full bass.

But Raal Sr1a sounds more exciting while Senheiser HD 800s is more comfortable to wear.

It is to be seen whether new top of the line will be way better than 009s.

I think it will be only slightly better Than the 009.

I am a potential buyer if the quality is there. I am currently using the SR009s and am very satisfied. I believe that the 20% increase in diaphragm and increase in stiffness of the new SR-X9000 will have a significant effect on the sound quality. Let's wait and see the tests. The SR-X9000 is slated for release in October.

I am ready to place an order

Does that mean I get a discount on the sr009?
