5v is the max heater voltage used. 45 is the lowest 2.5v iirc, and 300b is highest at 5v. Total wattage of tubes allowed is about 8w or so.The internal ballast resistors are only 5 watts
The relays used are rated at 2 amps.

The new gg2 uses diodes I’m not sure as to what tubes are ok. It’s more then just tube heaters at play here. The diodes are used to isolate the plate to ground voltage potential. the pac is not the same it used the little tube not as a diode but more like regulator. in any event I like to get a blessing from norm as he talks to yoda.Good to know now that I have a PAC.
that is the label...not the exact spec. Mine does not say px25 or T100. Those are added as they are within tolerance of 101d and 390b setting and people want to use those tubes. My PAC has a PX25 setting.
for GG2 I would stick with the label until confirmed by Yoda. We only discussed Pac...though I suspect the same applies to GG2 as well. Most important is to make sure you insert tubes AFTER verifying what position is selected. 300b setting on a 45 tube could be detrimental. The new gg2 uses diodes I’m not sure as to what tubes are ok. Just curious to know what it supplies with a PX25 / RD in it Norman. I am surprised no one has posted the answer given how easy it is to do.
Given virtually no one uses NOS PX25 1.8A would be a good answer since that is the KR spec.
I’m using original PX25 to good effect.
Your PCM is DE 532? What’s that? Mine says DS57My PAC has a PX25 setting.
Maybe Digital Engine 53mk2. As Pacs had initially Digital Engine 57....but I might be very wrong..Your PCM is DE 532? What’s that? Mine says DS57
Justin...I use Tesla ad1n and KR px25 regularly in a pac no issue. Also have the philips 4683.
I suppose it could be that simple. Lampizator does have some variability in the way they present things. A change in the engine would be notable however. Or maybe the buyer requested something unique that couldn’t be called the same thing?Maybe Digital Engine 53mk2. As Pacs had initially Digital Engine 57....but I might be very wrong..

Would love to see what you think of the taka 300b.Today I am going to listen with a pair of Tak 300Bs and an Acme 274B. All 3 tubes are well broken in.
And i like that we sit and enjoy RDsWould love to see what you think of the taka 300b.
