Preface your thread with "No DBT talk" and I/mods will make sure it stays that way.Amir

i was excited when Mike amps and Evolution speakers added the Dartzel amps to his system
Mike has addressed practically every issue of the audio reproduction chain from the moment the electricity enters the room to the point the music reaches his ear. I assume his ears are in good working order. Not onl that he ha smultiple copies of the same recordins in tape vinl and digital. Quite frankly not even Sean Olive at Harmon can rival his setup.
I for one was looking froward to his comments on what he was hearing with his new setup. iit is quite disappointing to me that he has decided to take his act elsewhere, There are those of us who value what he has to say.
My personal opinion of the value of individual blind test challenges have been stated . So has my feelings on" it is just your preference" statements. This thread will not allow such comments.
This thread is limited to what you heard. No scientific test or explanation is required. I do however ask that you try to be speific. If you heard a revelation when you added XYZ cables. That does not tell us much. Details about what recording you were listening to.What detail was added? What distortions were reduced or removed.

If these kinds of anecdotal reports bother you(and you know who you are)either avoid the thread or hold your tongue. Personal attacks will not be tolerated no matter how thinly veiled. I will request the moderators to delete them.

i hope Mike will kick things off by giving us an update on his system.

Edit :my post was not on the thread topic......it was agreeing about the negative effect of certain styles of posting where the value and significance of in depth listening experience is marginalized.....an important topic to me (and primary reason i avoid these threads).....as opposed to these thread topics.
