Rmaf 2010

I'll be there, hopefully doing show coverage for Audiogon so it becomes a free trip :D.

If AG does not budget I'll be there for fun rather than work. Either way, I'm not missing it, I've been to every RMAF show since it began.

Is Audiogn making videos this year? I understand you tube is going stereo now. Are you making these videos or just doing still pictures?

I will be there this year again, and it is my third year. Looking forward to a bigger show, now that the economy is a little more stable compared to last year. A lot to see and hear in three days, but a lot of fun.

Usually Arnie (Audiogon's founder) does the sound recording and video for You Tube.

Audiogon may send one employee with a still camera. This only happens at very large shows like CES. I'm instructed to cover the main show and backup does THE Show.

Last year I finished CES with only a few hours to spare. I think something like 1100 images before sorting and editing. No way could I have done that and THE Show and I'm fast with my camera.

I've provided most of the images at Audiogon (not this last CA show though). All RMAF, CES, Stereophile and the ones in Canada, Sweden, London and Milan.

I hope to convince them to let me do Germany next year, but first the economy has to improve.

As moderator: Angela that should be in the Industry Announcement Section. Thank You! The site is growing and we are trying to get members to put things in the right place.

Shoot, I just realized I have a concert that Sunday afternoon, dress rehearsal Friday night, and am tied up Saturday, so it's unlikely I'll be able to make it. Talk about bad luck and lousy timing... :( I may try to rearrange things to make it up for a little while Saturday. - Don

This will be our (my wife and I) 3rd straight RMAF. We'll be staying at the Hampton Inn and Suites so we can actually get some sleep at night! That first year, we were in the room next to the Pioneer TAD room. Lesson learned! I'm brand new to this site and hope to meet some of you at the RMAF.

I'll be there and it'll be nice to finally meet you!

Hmm, I'm staying in the Denver Marriot Tech Center; I hope that's not a mistake...

The good news is you'll be close to the action. The bad news is you'll be close to the action.....

Talk about getting your money's worth :)

I will be there with Doshi Audio and Paragon Sight & Sound (Room 9026). Come see the debut of the Doshi Audio Jhor Monoblock Amplifier. Associated equipment from Wilson Audio, Transparent Audio, Wadia Digital, Koetsu, SME Limited, and Real Traps!

Folks,
Check out www.hotwire.com - key in your dates, and zip code 80237. There's a cluster of hotels just South of Arapahoe that seem to be having a sale for those nights of the RMAF. I just booked myself into the Sheraton at $62 a night for 5 nights. Embassy Suites is showing at Hotels.com at $55 a night and the Inverness Golf and Country club (4-stars) at $62 a night plus some unspecified "resort fee".

Can we please have a show of hands of people planning to attend RMAF? I'd like to meet as many of you as possible (faces to names and all that)!

Hi Rich,

Sorry I won't be coming and have an opportunity to meet you. Please stop by the Oswaldsmill Audio Room to meet Jonathan Weiss. You will have the opportunity to see and hear some of his horn speakers and his turntables, amps, etc. You won't be disappointed.

Rich
