From a sound point of view, I can recommend this Klei RCA plug copper silverplated. Low mass principle adds hardly any capacity to the cable. Unfortunately, you have to be careful when soldering as it doesn't release a lot of heat. It is best to plug it into a used cinch socket and solder it to prevent the contacts from deforming.View attachment 117276

Thank you, but I am not looking for connectors. I am happy Cardas can install a connector which contains no rhodium.

I recommend the ETI Kryo RCA plug. Tellurium copper with silver plating, no rhodium, low mass, excellent tonal balance and detail. With two retaining bolts, it also has secure cable connections and should be very reliable. I have tried many RCA plugs including the WBTs but the ETI Kryo is now my go-to choice. Available from Hifi Collective in the UK (with 3-day delivery to the US).

I don't think that either model switches.

i am sure there was a switch. Not for the hybrid. I can’t exactly recall the details will have to look it up.

I can well believe Jadis installing such a function, however might the switch you recall have been a retro non factory installed mod.

If you like the KLEI, you should try the ETI Kryo. I have two identical cables, one with KLEI Absolute and one with Kyro, and I like the one with ETI Kryo much better.

Congrats on the acquisition of the Balance Ron, I've always believed that this table belongs in the top ten of all belt driven tables. At Danny's house, the Balance and the TD124 were consistently my favorite tables. What will be the second arm?
