A big congrats Ron looks great sounds damn good on Apple ear buds pro 2 to me.
apple tends to boom the bass though.
At my place using the ML33 amps i ended up just in front of woofer towers on side of walls. anywhere in the back it varied
The staging song to song.
And I have almost 18 feet behind them. In the middle midway front to back of speakers was not bad.
Looks amazing Ron enjoy

Ribbons on Pendragon with staggered oval apertures look exactly like the "no know" anonymous pair that I bought from the guy who bought them at the Las Vegas BG/Wisdom factory closedown clearance sale. I surmise they might be relatives, but who knows.

These that I have are highly efficient, indicating stronger magnets than the traditional BG ribbons. They sound great in my medium size room from 300 Hz to 7kHz with anything from 2 watts upwards @ 6 ohms with active crossover, and cast the image high and wide. The pair I have on hand don't seem to be current hogs which is unusual for a ribbon/panel.

Pendragon ones state a modest efficiency, but it appears they have a passive analog crossover.

Dear Ron,

With a peak / bump at 60-65Hz… Do you find that you then have a dip at ca 30Hz ?

no, not obviously anyway

Who makes a free-standing Helmholtz resonator which will absorb with a sharp Q at a center frequency of 60Hz to 65Hz?

Dear Ron,

Here’s link to the U.S. dealer for the Swedish made Helmholtz resonators with ajustable ports.. Hope it might be of some help.

All the best

Very good Ron,
Seems that the sound has even out a bit now. Much better than before… Have you done anything in particular?

I reduced the toe-in. (It slipped my mind that I used to position the Prodigys pointing straight ahead (zero toe-in).)

And Russ Stratton radically reduced the woofer level. (I told you I was having too much fun with the woofer level control!)

There is still a suck-out in the lower midrange. I can hear it on Stevie Nick's voice. Hopefully that is the ribbon drivers needing to break in.

Haha - great job! Yes it’s easy to get ”sound-blind” and mis the smaller things when you’re in the middle of it all. The sound will come, I’m sure of it. Btw: the bass sound will change over time now coming month before the bass towers are fully breaked in. When I installed my 8 Martin Logan subs, the woofers took almost 3-4 month before they settled down and stoped changing sound from day to day… So, just be patient and the sound will be there… Enjoy!

Hahaha - I crack myself up here…

the towers are sopposed to extend the fronts, not being a sledgehammer in the back!! Haha.. -but ofcourse I know that you know all about this… but it is a funny mistake that we all have done when tuning in big woofers…

I love to follow your progress:D?..!!!

Ron,

The vertical scale of the second graph is also changed, creating a false impression of the changes. When comparing graphs we should have the same scale.

Good catch! I did not notice that! The first one was from Russ' app.

I will re-do it later.

How should I select all of these options?

What are you doing for clean A/C?
