And there was me Ron, thinking you'd be up for selling some Zus, lol. I know you like those Definitions 6 you heard at Phil's.
Super second move. Add an active crossover and six channels of amplification to the Auditoriums and its Checkmate!Congrats, Ron! That is very exciting.
I am not sure how your woofer towers are designed for being able to work with other main speakers...but I did ask earlier in other thread (maybe this one?) whether you would ever consider Clarysis Auditoriums with Gryphon Subtowers. Perhaps some day in the future we might all see that trial occur in your room.
Basically a very-nearly full-range panel, and then utilizing all the majesty of the Gryphon tower subs below 32hz
Couldn’t believe the change at the 225-225 hour mark.congratulation.
the tubes has absolutely no problem with the Clarisys audio. you can use them in ease.
regarding the break in, wait until you cover the 215 hours mark, you would not believe what you have in your room.
this speakers are pure magic.
wish you much success and happiness.
Aviad.
Yes, no doubt VAC is great with these speakers(I like the way VAC is voiced), but I’m surprised how musical the Hegel monos are. And I’m coming from Manley mono tube amps.As an ex dealer, my advice to you would be never sell anything you would not be happy to listen to yourself. Good luck!
I also note the Suncoast guys were using VAC over Hegel at the Florida show...
Cool, which pre do you use?Yes, no doubt VAC is great with these speakers(I like the way VAC is voiced), but I’m surprised how musical the Hegel monos are. And I’m coming from Manley mono tube amps.
They both work wonderful and we recommend either brand depending on customer taste. All the best FloYes, no doubt VAC is great with these speakers(I like the way VAC is voiced), but I’m surprised how musical the Hegel monos are. And I’m coming from Manley mono tube amps.
VAC master preamp with the phono stage.Cool, which pre do you use?
A sticky wicket, for sure.Congratulations Ron on your new business. I do have a serious question for you . Wasn’t it you the questioned Robert Harley’s and other reviewers when he wrote about how long term loans were good for the Industry and to paraphrase there’s nothing to see here let’s move on philosophy?
I don’t see how someone can be a dealer and then expect to have neutrality towards other products that do not put money in your pocket?
This seems to be a conflict of interest. I don’t think anyone can serve two masters. Dealers like myself are always being questioned as of motive and in fact you and I had a very serious discussion about this before I renewed my WBF sponsorship.
On another note in a forum where people discuss the smallest of things and there audible differences putting a large dipole speaker or in fact any speaker in front of any other speaker is an audio no no. Sorry
I don’t care what brand you are discussing this is not chasing the best result.
Best of luck in your endeavor!
Not presently. I just want to get the current speakers settled in first. Thanks!
Any plan to add active XO?
I´d guess this is in fact the first step in a change of speakers....Congratulations Ron on your new business. I do have a serious question for you .
