This morning i was at a friend's place and we compared my Cardas Clear Beyond XLR to Clarus Crimson XLR that he has on loan.
The difference was night and day, Clear Beyond is in a another league compared to Clarus Crimson, we were shocked!

I always ask for explanation on vague words like "another league" and "better."

Are you able to describe for us specific sonic differences you heard, or describe relative emotional engagement?

Clear Beyond XLR is comparable to a full component upgrade like upgrading an amplifier for example.
This cable has it all, clarity, openess, density, heavy but thight and very clear bass, extended mids and trebel without harshness and plenty of musicality.
Emotional engagement on voices is insane with this cable.
Clear Beyond interconnect is most likely George's best cable to date.
Clarus Crimson is muddy and slow compared to Clear Beyond.
I would be curious to try Clear Beyond XL PCs if it's just as good.

Cardas is a great brand.
The wiring inside of your audio equipment may interact with one another and change the sound. This is due to metallurgy / resistance.

Mil-Spec Silver-Plated wire (custom interconnects / speaker cables) vs Pure Silver cables - Sound identical at the same lengths. A nice alternative is PCOCC copper which is nearly as transparent. And other varieties of high-purity copper are fine; albiet a bit warm in the midrange.

Once you reach a certain point - When all of your cables are superconductors - No further improvements can be had. It's like soldering/hardwiring everything. This is a good thing.

All the best with your system.
