I regret that the fall 2018, three-day A820 operator training class that ATAE was hoping to host in Santa Monica California was canceled due to insufficient pre-enrollment. I also regret that our infrequent, open to the public courses are so expensive. But we've learned that a nice hotel with a variety of great dining nearby is an important draw.

Course time is also allotted for learning how to quickly find things (how to find anything and everything) in the big, printed manual.

Indeed.

And at least a few people always tell us that they really enjoyed seeing a machine being taken completely apart.

This would be fascinating, if not -- essential!

Hi Ron,

The answer is simple.

Unacceptable cost to the attendees.

Taking a training presentation on the road is like a manufacturer exhibiting at a trade show.

There's the logistics of shipping all the hardware, paying for the exhibit space, housing the show personnel. This isn't cheap.

Some of our eight people attending might object to paying even their one-eighth share of the presentation's cost.

Yet only three people would almost certainly object to a far greater (one-third share) amount.
