I have a word with my local Magico dealer. He said the design of M9 has trimmed down a little. It is now 6.5 feet tall, 1000 pound and active bass drivers.

Expect the official launch to be early next year.

Interesting that it would be so heavy. It seemed like Magico was moving toward using more carbon fiber and less aluminum in the higher end models, which would imply lighter speakers. But maybe the amps and active bass dictate more aluminum.

I hope they do a pure diamond tweeter eventually. I don't like having beryllium in my speakers. Come on Magicooo. I know they won't but I can dream.

The new video clip on Magico FB.
It's a new driver with an aluminum honeycomb inner layer.
A new woofer for the coming M8/9?

According to the insider imfo obtained by TLi on #21, this Magico monster will be of similar performance level and a competitor of Wilson Audio Chronosonic XVX.
