Interesting. Given that I've the exact same track and perhaps even the same OPPO digital source, one might think the two presentations would sound more alike than different.

Not my most dynamic but still a rather enjoyable piece. BTW, I get the biggest kick when some bloke tells me my in-room recordings are lackluster, sterile & lifeless, zero transparency, etc. Such comments lead me to think some of us don't know what we're doing and/or what we're talking about - and I'm starting to think it's me. ;) Give it some juice.

There's that empty coffee can sound again. Always amazes me how we interpret what we hear so vastly differently.

This is certainly a menacing piece to say the least with tremendous dynamics in the back half. Give it some juice.
