Hi

I do actually like these two groups. Commercial success and all that, I find both very good. Sound ? I don't seem to care the albums are the standard pop fare, i-e compressed and somewhat loud .. Coldplay tend to present a dense musical picture that would have benefit from better recording .. I find the Live 2003 album , strangely less compressed and cleaner sounding than their studio albums... I would say that Marron 5 albums are ok ..nothing great in term of sound to write home about d ..

I like the Lyrics, I have been listening to this album from time to time on my commute to work for example since 2005 when my daughter introduced both group to me. I tend to think this album is destined to become a Classic, Pop music well done

Marron 5 ; Songs about Jane. ;

I find this Live Album better sounding than their studios albums.. That doesn't stop me from loving this group

I have never read what the critics say about their music. I simply love the "Songs about Jane" album to me as good as pop can get and the earlier Coldplay is great.. Actually have seen both in concert ..Looking forward to explore their latest albums ..although the little I've heard from those do not seem to be at the same level of these groups ealier up to 2007 ... Maroon taking a definite turn toward the a commercial (apparently successful for them) turn...
