Hello, Lee and thanks for asking. I am planning a full write-up/review [soon] in the Blue Coast thread that Northstar started. Anybody else who may be interested, be sure to keep a lookout. Also, John had inquired about my observations/minor gripes of the Dire Straights, "Love over Gold" SHM SACD. I haven't forgotten about you. At least not yet...

No problem, Tom. Get to it when you can. I've heard that the SHM SACDs are hit&miss with quality (and improvement over RBCD, considering cost).

Classic Records Re-issue 45 rpm Albeniz Iberia 8 single sided disks. Just won it at auction, I hope it's good...

 

I kinda thought that, but wasn't sure. I'll add it to my wishlist! Thanks Frantz?!

PS: John if you like Bill Evans you may love this one, anything by Tord Gustavsen BUT this was the first album and for ME it's the best one.

Scheherazade - St Louis / Semkov.

1/2", 15ips, 4 track (quad), Dolby A recording master. Was able to find a 1/2" 4 channel headblock for my MCI. Unfortunately have only 2 channels of K/C preamp and A decoding; but the front two channels are just AMAZING. Easily my favorite classical title
