Attended Atlanta Symphony and heard The Firebird Suite. To be reminded yet again how far short the very, very very ,very best two channel system is from the read deal.

I love listening to music on a spectacular home stereo system. But not even close to live.

I agree BUT try to fit the symphony in your living room and let me us know how it sounds, only the very very rich could afford that.:):):)
 
For a birthday two years ago, as a surprise, my wife hired a 3 piece jazz ensemble to play in our home. That, too, reminded me how really short the best audio is from the real deal. But 2 channel does a much better job with a small jazz group than a symphony --- but only a bit better.

Audio is making great strides. But we have a long way to go --- and it won't happen with 2 channels.
