after being way for a month, great to spin vinyl again:
Freddie Hubbard - Open Sesame from 1960. just released 80th blue note anniversary reissues - mastered by Kevin Gray and pressed and Optimal. sounds great and the pressing is superbly quiet.

Is this the 10" singles? I have the original and they are 5 x 10" singles in the boxset.
Nice. The 5 x 10 inch was a UK release. I have the US release- 2 x 12inch @33/3rd.
How does the 10 inch release sound?
Hi XV-1 I have not listened to it in a while, but from memory it was not bad. It’s not my favourite album from Leftfield, only really 2 tracks did it for me which are Phat Planet and Africa Shox with Afrika Bambaataa.
When this album came out I was working for a big advertising agency and we used the track Phat Planet on the Guinness advert.
