What's Spinning Tonight?

Johan

People either get BJM or they don't. Most don't due to the fact you must listen to his albums multiple times, otherwise they all sound pretty similar - It's all in the subtleties .
If you want to try and get into them, I would try Their Satanic Majesties' Second Request , Bravery Repetition And Noise or Take It From The Man! first.

cheers
Thank you Shane, I will certainly do that!

Prince – Lotusflower / MPLSound - 2009 - an underrated double album from the purple legend that is Prince. miss this guy and the lack of new music from him as he was so prolific.

Continue on the Ascona with?:

Titiyo - Titiyo, from 1990, on black vinyl at 33rpm. Marvelous sound on this record.

Titiyo is the younger sister to Neneh Cherry, and the somewhat older sister to Eagle-Eye Cherry, both famous singers from Sweden.

The platter is getting hotter on the Ascona tonight?:

Yazz - Wanted, orginal from 1988, on black vinyl on 33rpm. Soul and funky house music.

This even referes to:

Yasmin Evans - or.. Yazz And The Plastic Population.

Johan K, you are digging out some nice 12" singles I have . I think we have similar tastes in music.
Haha, yeah it might be so! I was in that kind of old school house - hiphop mode this evening… and played even more titles that I did not post. The mode at the moment always steer the mind towards different kind of music, and tomorrow will maybe be the same or something totally different.

Cheers / Jk
