---Wow, you guys are bringing me back to memory lane.
...When I was a teenager and working at my local Music Concert Hall, I met Gilbert Becaud and Charles Aznavour in person.
...Others too (male & female singers, songwriters, chansonniers, poets, troubadours, theater actors, ...), International artists of similar caliber.
I was strictly into albums (LPs) in those years, and I have a bunch from these artists (CDs weren't invented yet, and 8-track tapes were not my forte). ...Manitas de Plata, Aznavour, Becaud, Serge Regiani, Serge Gainsbourg, Jean-Pierre Ferland, Georges Moustaki, Claude Dubois, Robert Charlebois, Gilles Vigneault, Raoul Duguay, Daniel Lanois, Nana Mouskouri, Diane Dufresne, Richard Desjardins, Daniel Lavoie, Jean Leloup, Johnny Pagliaro, Gerry Boulet (Offenbach), Richard Seguin (Harmonium), Beau Dommage, Les Classels, and so many many more ...
=> I met most of them in person, exchanged words with them, and listened/danced to their music.
I even worked for some of them, jammed with some, and did other things too; more on a spiritual level ... Hey, I'm French, and a Quebecois too! :b
