I went out yesterday to check on the house and do a couple of errands. The rubber glove thing is really pretty difficult.
So far I think the best solution is to put a glove on only one hand, so you have an ungloved "clean hand" for touching your car key and wallet, etc., and a gloved "contaminated hand" for touching things in the outside world.
Still, if this were a real plague in which one slip up and you die applied, we would all be dead. I know I would be. Going outside to go shopping or do errands and remaining perfectly uncontaminated is nearly impossible.
