Gian's system - Vyger-Opus vs Techdas AF3, SAT+Lyra Lambda

Ked, Tang, Gian or anyone, sorry about being off the topic but do you have any experience with Da Vinci table? It looks sexy and sounds sexy too. Just want to know how it compares to tables like vyger or AFs.

No idea, I would love to compare. Audiocrack owns it, PM him.

No one has in Italy,
2 friend has tonearm Grandezza Reference, good but nothing special.
I listen 15 years ago the smaller In Unison from a friend in center Italy, also this good but nothing special
The big Da Vinci would like to listen

Ok thanks, maybe I should just close my eyes and take the jump...

Hello Gian,

Have you tried the Coralstone diamond on the Vyger?

What are your your latest thoughts after lowerIng the tracking force on the Coralstone?

Hello Tony, I believe that Bob V. at Rhapsody has the Coralstone setup on his Vyger.

I do have the Coralstone on the VYGER. I have the tracking force set at 2.2G, it's just right for me at 2.2g, good balance. Sounds pretty good, too subjective and too many variables to give any type of good information, other than I really like it.

Hi Nick,

I can't comment on the current production but older ones from mid 2000's were very good and they're always beautiful to look at. AF has 5 very different models which one are you referring to?

Nick should get the Technic direct drive with OMA plinth so that we have many flavors in the forum. Soundwise, I have no idea but it sure makes him a cool dude with uncommon equipment and then can rave about its sonic so much no one can't question because no one has heard. Just like me with ddk's tt. :D

They stopped doing it in your area
No Bonz. Not this promo. The other promo, the all-you-can-eat promo that they stopped in his area.

I reduced weight of Coralstone on SAT at 1.85 and seems little more transparent

I listen for one month on Vyger and sound is very good, natural and neutral, bass controlled and transparent
Mine is diamond, could be little more transparent than normal

Vyger lambda, Belafonte live at Carnegie

Thanks David! There’s a new model which is smaller but claimed to be sounding as good as the bigger one, am intrigued. The problem is there’s so little information on the website, from where I only got to know they use magnetic bearing and that’s it.
