Shots from the best room. Affected by blue LED lighting. It is a very large room and even then the Viva speaker system could probably enjoy quite a bit more space I would imagine. Half of the woofer tower was obscured by the horns with the bottom drivers firing directly into the back of them.
Still, there wasn't much in the way of obvious sonic compromise. Warmer than the Admire Audio horns and just a better experience all round, really.
Trying to cross reference with something like an AG Trio plus bass horn setup, this is much easier going and far more relaxing. This is really obvious playing Infected Mushroom where an AG setup will confront you with a very fast, dynamic and in your face presentation that can result in an information overload feeling, just like decent Apogee's, really.
This system simply won't do that. It just oozes ease and a sense of not needing to try to impress. Better at conveying emotion as a result and that was very evident playing Tom Jones.
Bass is massive in scale, prohection and height. High volume levels handled with ease, which is a strength of large horn based systems generally I find.
If this system was at Munich and well set up it would be in the top 5 rooms, with some voting it the top, I would say.
