Sorry to hear Bob. If you give me your Ongaku and Vyger, I will let you be Full owner of them.Btw, I am part owner of the M9s that are in Chris's place.

I just gave one my Ongakus to my friend in Manhattan last night to drive the Lorenzo LM1s. This is a new Rhapsody location now over in the Financial District of the city. I only have one Ongaku left but you can have that one but I NEVER will give up my Atlantis, now that it finally works perfectly all the time. I truly love the VYGER now. It took time to sort it out, but with the new pump/control box (Titan) it's really great.Sorry to hear Bob. If you give me your Ongaku and Vyger, I will let you be Full owner of them.

Ron, apparently there was mis-communication about posting the video. It happens. But Chris and I do not like the video that has been posted. Simple as that. We just don't like the audio quality of the video.
Btw, I am part owner of the M9s that are in Chris's place. I don't like the video and would not have allowed it to be posted if I was asked prior about posting the M9 video.
My opinion is that pics and descriptions would be more beneficial than posting less than stellar videos on these especially brief visits. I don't see what is gained with the videos vs pic/comments.Fair enough. I don't like the audio quality of the M9 video either. I don't like the audio quality of the video I recorded in Todd's Trio G3 room. I don't like the audio quality of any of the videos I post in connection with my visits and interviews. I don't like the audio quality of any digital videos of any analog systems recorded by anyone. This is because I do not believe that digital video recordings of analog audio systems are representative of the in-the-room sound.
The digital video recordings I make of audio systems are at least fair -- or, depending on how you think about it, equally unfair -- because I have recorded every every single one the exact same way. At least it is an even playing field.
If you think you already know the answer, and you don't actually care what my answer is, why are you even asking me? I guess just to post and to stir the pot.we all know the answer Ron. Chris and Bob clarified all of this in this thread. You know exactly what’s going on.
You can believe whatever you want, which you obviously do already. Each of us chooses what to waste time on.And you might be the only person in the country who doesn’t know when the eclipse is or what the Super Bowl is. BS
Ouch! And ouch! The sheer force and frequency of damp hand wringing in this thread being quite so immense I fear that some member might suffer a nasty sprain or even a hairline fracture of the wrist … and bang goes their sex life then !
This is another good and fair question! I have thought about this a lot myself. My opinion is that pics and descriptions would be more beneficial than posting less than stellar videos on these especially brief visits. I don't see what is gained with the videos vs pic/comments.
Actually, in a WBF forum sort of way, it is. If you read some posts on this thread, Ron has been found guilty as charged. It's not a trial.
Yeah, we just disagree. When I have had visitors/reviewers in the past, they just did pics/comments and it always worked nicely, but of course everyone has different ways of doing what they do. Understood. This is another good and fair question! I have thought about this a lot myself.
The empirical evidence suggests to me that viewers on my YouTube channel -- an overlapping constituency, but a different constituency than members of WBF -- like to see video of systems rather than still photos. It's a simple as that.
And if I'm recording video of systems I visit it makes more sense to me to record the audio of those systems actually playing music, than it does to overdub a CD of random music.

Ron, you asked us to judge you by your actions as a dealer reviewer and site owner. It’s not a matter of my belief. It’s my judgment based on your actions.
People interested in big Magicos will do a search, if Ron is one of the few with a video, he will get more traffc ! Why should he give that up ?Same here. I find the video option utterly pointless, and pics/descriptions much more useful.
I do not understand Ron basing his decisions on "popular demand" while evidently loathing videos himself.

I just searched for the first time "Magico M9" on YouTube. My video doesn't come up, but several other video recordings of audio of M9s do come up.People interested in big Magicos will do a search, if Ron is one of the few with a video, he will get more traffc ! Why should he give that up ?
