Hello all!
We have heard a lot of interest in a collaboration with Taiko and integrating the Pro ISL system with Taiko servers. This post here is to generally update and let everyone know where we are at in this process.
Happy to say, after some productive discussions in Munich with Emile, we were able to lay out plans for a collaboration to provide a Pro ISL output for Taiko. As soon as we got back to California, we sent out a development kit and DAC for them to test with. It sounds like it is all hands on deck at Taiko to get this solution up and running. There are 3 other server companies working on Pro ISL integrations, so it will be interesting to see who get's there first
We will be providing the following Pro ISL output card which they will integrate directly to their XDMI interface. These output cards are complete and in stock, available to any server/source companies looking for integration solutions.
We also want to clarify, for some folks may have been misinformed, MSB has not consulted on or has given any contribution to the XDMI interface. The XDMI is Taiko's tech and hard work, so I just wanted to mention this to squash any of those rumors. Give credit where credit is due.
As soon as they have it working and we certify it meets our bit perfect performance with clock feedback functionality we will be sure to announce it here. We have a very high standard and will ensure the final solution meets our performance requirements. This will bring Taiko integration to all Discrete, Premier, Reference, Select, Cascade, and Sentinel DACs with a Pro ISL input module.
Keep us posted on your progress @Taiko Audio !
