“Examining the Criticism: Is Synergistic Research Unfairly Singled Out in the High-End Audio Industry?”

And wait until you see the videos we have coming, where I compare SR products to our major competitors’ products that are multiples more expensive. With high-resolution downloadable files, people can hear the overwhelming performance advantage Synergistic Research holds over our competition. Shock and awe are incoming, and there’s not a damn thing our competitors, or their proxies in the paid high-end audio press, can do to slow our momentum. The stranglehold on the narrative is coming to an end. And the best part? Anytime anyone reads a review from one of these paid hacks, the first thing they’re going to want to know is how that compares to a Synergistic Research product that costs less. Fortunately, we have a dealer and distributor network that will make that happen. Enjoy!

Where is the connection to your above ,blatant sales pitch ,to the subject matter of this thread, as outlined in the OP of this your own thread ?

There is a whole section of this forum where manufactures can open a specific sub forum *entirely* dedicated to their own company , where they can discuss and invite interaction with members specifically about their products . You will note that the majority of other manufactures who participate here recognise this facility and avail themselves of it , whilst also recognising that spamming the other areas of the forum with threads about their wares is considered poor forum decorum and against accepted good manners .

Allow me to direct you to the sub forum to which I refer :

I believe I’ve been respectful. This should be interesting, especially for those considering products in the audio categories we occupy. It will certainly be interesting enough to warrant an audition of the Synergistic Research products we will be highlighting. Then, customers can make up their own minds based on the performance of our products in their systems. This seems fair to me.

It does but why not just title the thread "We have something new coming out that you're going to love. Come listen to it" rather than something about you being unfairly singled out. It seems manipulative.

Perception has a way of turning into reality and not always favorably. Again, take my comment for what it's worth or not, I didn't have a reaction in your favor.

My original post pointed out intellectual dishonesty in the way my company is singled out versus others. In fact, responses to my original post have strongly supported my supposition, as well as laid bare narratives that will be addressed in the weeks and months to come—hence my response.

I think the responses actually support my supposition that everyone here is treated to a great deal of snarky skepticism fairly or unfairly. Try randomly perusing virtually any cable discussion here. Better yet focus on the ones questioning if they make any meaningful difference at all and then come back and tell me you’ve been unfairly picked upon. Maybe the CEOs of Transparent, Siltech, Audioquest, Shunyata and a hundred others want to chime in. I missed any overt accusations of intellectual dishonesty specifically regarding SR. If you really want a hostile audience try posting on ASR. That should be good. It’s ok if people don’t believe you. Your job is to show them that your products represent value to them as consumers. WBF probably has the largest receptive audience to the idea that cables matter. Would you please share with us the basis of your original post? I honestly want to know what started this.

Yawn so bored with this playing the victim card.
Sorry Ted you lost a customer.

To be honest, I was not directing my observation toward this group specifically. I was speaking about the HEA zeitgeist in general. That we are part of that is why the topic is open for discussion. Perhaps I should have made this clear.

Sorry Ted you lost a customer.

I wouldn't be so sure. The quantum keeps you entangled, if you want it or not.

This whole discussion, the presentation, its initial purpose and as it unfolds, driven by its author, is extremely disturbing.

You seem even more twisted than your products.
One thing is clear, for me, none of this works in favor of you and your company.

Best,
c*

It seems that the stated premise of Mr. Denney’s original post pretty quickly morphed into not much more than a blatant sales pitch. I suspect this scenario has been replicated across various social media platforms, giving Mr. Denney a great deal of visibility for his products without spending a dime of advertising cost. While this tactic leads me to simply eliminate his products from consideration, there is a school of thought that any attention is good attention and that seems to be what is at work in this case. A bit of clever, if distasteful, marketing panache. Given all of the free exposure he has received, hopefully he will have the good taste to actually purchase an advertisement on WBF if he has not done so already

From what I can ascertain, there are two primary groups on this forum: those with close ties to the industry and actual end-user audiophiles, my friends and customers. The former is where the vitriol comes from and proves my original supposition. The latter is who I will be appealing to in the weeks and months to come. By asking the question about the blatant double standards and logical fallacies, which are clear and evident, I have gained insight that I will respectfully address going forward.

My intention is to share ideas and have fun with actual audiophiles. I’ll leave the industry politics to everyone else.

Ted,

I don’t care how you divide up this forum.

I was asked to come back to the audiophile world to kill MQA. MQA LTD was liquidated October 7, 2024. We hope to end MQA’s presence in the market by 2026.

If I’m here I might as well swing the pendulum back to 50/50 measurements and listening. You are merely in the way.
