Hello,
Then we will make the same experience very likely soon.
My H-8000 is scheduled for shipping also already.
I have owned the H-5000 some years ago and it was already very good, especially after swapping the rectifier tubes.
I hope we both will enjoy the H-8000.
Regards
Axel
hi Enrico, your information doesn’t list your speakers. Just asking as you have two of my favourite components, the Lampi and the Allnic phono, and live in the land of good food

in my h8000 i use the telefunken rs242 and the marconi hl2. the hl2 is a bit bigger than normal diameter though so the noise shield has to be remade but not too hard

Do all the H-8000 phono stages have the silver SUT, or is it something that came just with later units? Do you know in which years?
I have just read today, that the production of the H-8000 DHT should stop in this year, 2024. Even if this was communicated some months ago, I am sad to hear that after 5 years of production this product should go.

Hope you are well. I have a question for you if you can help. I heard it’s best to run a cable straight from the cartridge through the Tonearm to connect to the Allnic and I was also told to connect to the Allnic by RCA not XLR as it prefers RCA. Can you help me understand better. Thank you
Not Bonzo, however, the Allnic uses internal transformers to "create" a balanced signal. The sad truth is they sound horrible. Not recommended from my perspective. The RCA connections are preferable.
On a single conductor from cartridge to the Allnic input- sure preferable. However, lots of designs use din connectors or RCAs as intermediaries and they're ok. Good if you can do it , otherwise it will not necessarily change your world.
@Kcin have you tested the XLR connections versus RCA to test sound quality or have an opinion on differences? Did you compare using the same line and brand of cables? I've been curious and am on the verge of buying the same Audioquest Water cables but in XLR to compare.
Also, does the Allnic like prefer RCA's on the input as well as the output? I'm assuming Phonostages and Preamplifiers are the same topologies and both prefer Single Ended?

I think the consensus is RCA from TT to Allnic but I’m also curious about whether RCA is better for both inputs and outputs. Maybe @bonzo75 can respond.
Before the H7000, I was originally running single - ended from my Pass Labs XP-15 to my Audionet preamp (1.5 meter cables). Then, when I got the H7000, I decided to move my analog setup to the side wall. I felt with the longer distance, that balanced made more sense. Balanced, running 4 meter cables, I really enjoyed the H7000 versus the Pass. Then I decided to move my entire system to the side wall which enabled me to run the shorter single - ended (1.5 meter) from the H7000 to the Audionet preamp. There was an undeniably noticeable bump in clarity and, call me crazy and certainly counter - intuitive, but I felt there was even 1-2 DB more gain. Note - I did not change any gain or impedance settings when changing output cables.
