Never got around to changing to Lion. Never felt compelled to do so, actually. This marks the first time I've skipped a generation of the Mac OS, FWIW.

IMO you should Tim, OS Lion has some amazing features. I understand it will be a $39 upgrade to OS Mountain Lion

I love Mac, but there is one golden Rule:

Never buy a "Zero" Mac Software.

I like Lion, mostly for the further enabling of gestures on my trackpad. My main gripe with Lion is the default that will reopen existing windows upon restart, and there is no way to permanently override this. Looks like Mountain Lion will take go further toward joining/'consistifying' iOS and OSX.

Yes; Lion is 10.7.x (x is currently 3). What Syntax was referring to in this context is to not use 10.7.0 or (in Mountain Lion's presumed case) 10.8.0.
