Arya Audio RevOPods footers

Dear Stereophonic. This is an old thread but I was wondering if you still use the Arya Audio RevOPods footers under your TAD speakers? Are you happy with it? I'm considering using it too for my CR1tx. Thanks
Hi.
Yes. They are a no brainer purchase....

Hi Mike.
I'm sorry but i haven't do any comparation...
I use Revopods for main components and these mini Revs for lighter ones.
This is a kind of exercice of trying and understanding isolation effect in each component.
In the meantime, mini Revs have improved transients, speed and lower noise. First impresions.... They need a little settle in...
As you know, they make work each component strenghts at higher level.
It is a kind of sound freedom. Far away from damping that i don't like...
Mini Revs follows Revopods impact...
Listening now Kind of Blue.
Miles and Coltrane atack is much better with a higher sense of brass vibrato and better silence and decay between notes...

It seems already settle in.
Sound energy has increased to a level of new musical dimension.
Bigger and deeper soundstage that need lower cut off crossover sub...
Far better improvement for such cheap feets...
Not expected...

Anyone ever try to use Revopods on top of an isolation platform (not directly on rack)? Additive or dilutive ?

Yes. I tried them on top of Well-float platforms multiple times on different gear. I think is made the RevOpods sound much better.

Wouldn’t it be helpful if these footer companies provided actual test results on what frequencies they address?

It seems to me if the Revopods sound better in combination with the Well float platform that perhaps the platform is addressing additional frequencies the revopod is not?

Not for me. I don't care what "spec" tells me as specs are easily manipulated to give the results they want. And that fails to tell you how in real life it will interact with your gear on your shelf. I've found different footers had different levels of impact on different pieces of gear and shelf types. No spec will help me with that.

Instead I'll see how it sounds on my shelf with my gear as the ultimate measurement.

As an example IsoAcoustics test quite well compared to others when spec are measured. Yet I strongly dislike the sound they impart on my gear.

We have moved to RevoPods for footers under the platform used to support our Ars Machinae M1 turntable. The results have been consistently excellent in that application. Synaxis, all additions in this realm are system-dependent, so I am inclined to agree that, in some instances, specifications may not always tell the whole story.

i have 32 RevOpods under my 5 Wadax Ref chassis on top of 4 passive isolation Taiko Daiza panzerholtz platforms; which sit on Massif Audio solid hardwood racks with Nordost Sort Fut footers on 6 inches of concrete.

the Wadax/RevOpod combo does sound better with the Daiza's underneath than without. a subtle musically more naturally focused difference. so anecdotally additive.

Hi Gary - I completely agree. At this level with vibration control it is very much system dependent.

I just ordered a set of 4 RevOpods to try under my AC Helene.....

Make sure you "level" them the right way as that will make a positive difference. Message me if you need tips on how to do that.
