Well unless the Giants win the next 3 against the Cards we will see the Cards once again in the WS. I am amazed how Tony LaRussa gets his wild card team to peak at the right time

Yeah well at least I'm not a Mariners fan. Our team was in the playoffs.
Hey.... the Mariners are the best AAA farm team in the Majors!!

Can the Giants win two b ack to back series in which they've been done 3-1
If they beat the Cards I feel they will have the momentum to beat the Tigers
Beg to differ Steve
The Giants rotation is shot having gone to a game 7 (and all arms are on deck in 7) while Detroit has been sitting by, giving their starters a couple of days of rest and lining up their pitching rotation. In addition, the Tigers will be able to if needed, start Verlander 3 times. He is quite possibly the best pitcher in BB today.
Then again were the Yankees that bad or Detroit that good? The Tiger with Cabrera and Fielder have quite possibly the best 3-4 hitters in the leagues (s).

The announcer pointed out the Giants pitching rotation is upside down.
