Here it is:

http://www.calyx.kr/

in addition, you can use is as a standalone DAC.

This is what I needed for my 14 hour flights over the big pond, playing my DSD files.

We are living in the best audio time in history, IMHO.

Thanks Ki. That's reasonable for everything it can do.

How does this compare to the Astell-Kern?

Have no first hand experience with AK but knowing Mr. SM Yi ,the head of the Calyx, who is music first and technology second kind of person, I would guess, the Calyx M would sound better. Will get one and bring it over to your studio for a listen hopefully soon.

Agree. I think it has huge potential for not only the audiophile community who wishes to simplify their setups but the pros who would loved to have one for field recording monitoring at its highest resolutions.

I got to audition an Astell & Kern twice but I simply do not like the sound and the protruding volume knob is problematic. Since I travel a lot as a consultant I prefer to travel light so I decided to go with a iPhone 5S with 64gb of storage. The Onkyo HF music player lets you play hirez files. And I take one of my Grado cans with me which sounds very good plugged directly into the phone.

I also have an iPod Classic and ALO Rx II Tactical Edition headphone amp but I find the bulk of the "brick" is just too much. At one point I wanted a Cypher Labs DAC/amp combo like the Theorem but it's just too much to carry on the road.

Korg makes a small portable DSD machine we have used on our recordings and it sounds very good.

Ki,

Are you saying you don't take your MBL system when you travel? :):)
