That's a relief.I own a pair of focal utopia headphones. Thank god I have had no problems with them.
I always bought a new product, but there was almost no problem and if there was a problem, they took quick action.Believe me I have had a lot of issues with my hifi equipment over the years and I bought everything brand new.

It's known that many manufacturers does not make any correspondence with private customers but with authorized distributors only; neverthless this is a kind of situation where a prompt reply from a manufacturer is due in order to grant his international reputation.
