JackD201 - Almost Done

From Wikipedia:

Boxing Day is traditionally the day following Christmas Day, when servants and tradesmen would receive gifts from their superiors[SUP][1][/SUP] or employers, known as a "Christmas box". Today, Boxing Day is better known as a bank or public holiday that occurs on 26 December, or the first or second weekday after Christmas Day, depending on national or regional laws. It is observed in the United Kingdom,Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and some other Commonwealth nations.
In South Africa, Boxing Day was renamed to Day of Goodwill in 1994. In Ireland it is recognised as St. Stephen's Day (Irish: Lá Fhéile Stiofáin) or the Day of the Wren (Irish: Lá an Dreoilín).
In some European countries, notably Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Scandinavia and the Netherlands, 26 December is celebrated as the Second Christmas Day.[SUP][2][/SUP]
In Canada, Boxing Day takes place on 26 December and is a federal public holiday.[SUP][3][/SUP] In Ontario, Boxing Day is a statutory holiday where all full-time workers receive time off with pay.[SUP][4][/SUP] The first day ofKwanzaa in the United States also falls on December 26th.

Much like Black Friday in the U.S., places like Best Buy and Future Shop will open their doors at 6am on the 26th and people will have been lined up all night long. I, myself, won't be doing that, but I will be partaking as I need a new monitor for my PC, a second external HDD and a webcam that is Win8 compatible.

In the Philippines, Boxing Day are days where Pacquiao or Donaire fight :) Mixed bag of Boxing Days this year. Pac lost twice :( but Donaire won all four :D .

The Light Harmonic is sure a cool box but sadly it isn't mine. Maybe Valentines for me then :D

We don't have big guys like you have over there. So I opted to have this built instead. Should come in handy if I ever get even bigger loudspeakers....

Here they are provisionally positioned in the unfinished room. I'm still waiting on Guilford of Maine fabric that's been delayed. The garbage bags on the wall are growing on me though. Very Dark City ;)

The analog rig will move in once all the fabrics are up and the rugs soon after.

Thanks for looking!

Not only is the room and the equipment awe-inspiring, but that piece of art in the staircase is beautiful.

Thanks for the kind words Saint! :)

I am fine with sleeping on the couch in that room Jack!:D

Who would want to leave that room?

Is that you Jen? :D

Change of Flavor

You've been Krowned.

That's a beautiful system you have there, Jack. Well done!

Tom

I've been aching for some triode luv lately :D

The Lamm M1.2s went for a home audition and never came back. LOL! I'll be placing an order for another pair tomorrow.

While this combo can't grab me by the neck and throw me around like a rag doll, it has a very beguiling vibe. Smooooooooth but kinda deadly. Kinda makes me feel like a young Sean Connery Bond. At least until I see my reflection in the mirror! LOL!

That's Hakeem and Kareem on the left and Patrick and David on the right.

Behind are Mookie, John, Mark J., KJ, Mark P., Gary, Tim and Kenny. :D

Jack-Your room looks beautiful. A work of art even if I may say so.

Thanks Mark! :D
