I think we need Keith's accountant/personal manager to check in on this thread. That near $50k hole from YG spend may critically influence where this thread goes.

My list:

1. Lamm M2.2
2. Pass X350.5
3. $100K Solution amps

I thought @KeithR prefers a warmer sound? If so, I'd rule out Soulution no?

I like Audionet and Spectral w/YG but doesn't seem like the sound the owner is looking for.

From reading the other thread.

So, perhaps the bigger Pass XA.8 series. You can also in home demo those amps from Reno Hifi.

My nomination goes to the CH Precision M1.1.
Impecable engineering. It has variable gain so Keith can properly match it with his passive pre.
And the negative-feed-back control allows Keith to shape the sound.
Plus the modular concept...

IMO, what Keith should drive them with, Keith should decide. I know what I would drive them with - my 911 mk3 Burmester monos and a lampi front end

I don't understand. It's not a matter of wanting it to be good or not wanting it to be good, I don't think. It is good.

What's the difference in spectral and the audionet? And what is the basic level at which audionet gets good, without having to go to stern and Heisenberg? @Taiko Audio can answer that one too

I like Audionet and Spectral w/YG

. . .

A subjective hobby this surely is! :)

Soulution, Audionet, Spectral on YG is why I thought I did not like YG.
