No worries. If I understood Lukasz correctly (and I believe I did) trusted customers - also those based in Europe - will be able to experience the Horizon dac as of next January. Maybe some of them will be as lucky to listen to it in their own systems.
I am not interested on the quess quiz you ignited here for the start. Let me just say that the price had been made on the base of real R&D and production calculation judgement and will be revealed by the Lampizator at the time they planned to do so.
As a Lampizator and Ideon distributor however I need to made the correction to your post as it is measliding. On other brands I am not having enough knowledge to comment but:
Pacific wise:
the prices vary , depending on the choice of build, with the four of them available as per official price lists available on Lampizator website. Euro prices equivalent in £ starts with £ 23700 for the SE unit and ends with £ 31200 for the BAL +VC model.
Ideon wise:
Such a thing like Ideon Reference doesn't exist. The top shelf DAC from Ideon is called an Absolute Dac and it was priced £ 24600. The recent revision of this model is called Absolute Epsilon and its price in the UK is £ 31440.
So I am curious where did you get that £ 60k from ? I don't want to be mean with pointing that but I have to say that spreading such information which is not correct is making lots of damage to the brands.
Hi, there is no such thing as chipless solutions. The resistor ladder solution uses a MONSTROUS chip to run the resistor ladder process, there is no free lunch. We use very modern chips that noone else has right now, and they are programmable, so we write firmware which controlls the block diagram of the chip, filtering, sampling rates, dsd, conversion current, and all that. So you cant compare that with any other dac.
As a fellow Atlantic TRP owner I was curious about the same thing! Wondering if an upgrade towards a product newly introduced a year or so from now may be in my future and closer to my budget
I agree with both voices and would like to add as a UK distributor that Lampizator was always famous and well known for their fair trade policy and the upgrades paths available for existing customers. It will be also worth adding for those who didn't experience that themselves, that it works very well. We maintained lots of custom upgrades, trade ins and service orders over the last 10 years together and all I can say is that: from the humble beginnings which I and many of you here remember well till today's glorious brand raise we are all enjoying, the care about customers investment and value for the money was always great.

Ked would say " Tang buy it. Pls be so kind to use my Lampi to trade in. And send me the trade in amount to me instead. I decide to have a forever virtual system."
Nice looking DAC Lukasz. Nice that the Old Pacific owners don`t have to worry about losing money big time , and this continuous trade option is a great advance in this market. As an compatriot I`m very proud to have this Audio Company over here!
Give us some more information about the inner parts, solutions. If that`s no secret.
