Just read the review, couldn't agree more on the Q7's character when driven by quality ancillary equipment. The Vitus line looks very intriguing...

That's great if it's a good as he says it is.

Indeed. The "little" class A Vitus integrated (30wpc IIRC) is a very, very good sounding piece. If its big brother is anything like it, that's a great deal.

I'm confused. The RI-100, as reviewed here, is $16k? The "little" one is cheaper?

The "little" one (SIA-025, I had to look it up to double check) is more expensive. It is from the next product range up the Vitus ladder (Signature Line). Gorgeous sounding little beast. Loved them driving Kipods.

They are being broken in at the factory ,once done he intends to move them to his personal space . He has a Grande Utopia, his current reference, which is up for sale . Two other speakers he considers highly are the Gauder Acoustics RC-11 and the Estelons

30 watts vs. 300 watts?

The SIA-25 is pure Class A , sweeter sounding more refined ... RI-100 Class A/B more ballsy.

Interesting...have you heard Gauder or Estelon? I have seen the video of the Gauder RC-11...'live vs Gauder'.

I hate to put a damper on this thread, but the reviewer descibed a holographic soundstage. How can that be with the speakers stuck against the front wall corners? Is the holography several feet in front of the speakers? If so, amazing! If not, can we trust any of the review? I believe the tonal quality was great, but a holographic soundstage? Count me skeptical.
