My main interest in tapes is caused by the combination of music and sound. Pretty much any music can be obtained elsewhere with smaller expense, but the tape offers different, more interesting combination.

Simply a well recorded tape arrive where no other source can. If you’re focused (like me) on max sound quality possible, so far this is the best way, cost no object.

Ahahah!. no worry, I was curious to hear from you as professional what you think about reel to reel recorder and tapes used as main source in hi-fi systems.
it's not by intention, simply personally I don't have a turntable due to I have skipped it and landed directly to rtr. But belive that direct recording deserve to be considered for good reasons
