New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Clippers have been very quiet in free agency to this point.
Perhaps re-signing Leonard is priority. The other interesting thing for me is there is silence around the league and sportscasters re any interest in KL. If true it would assume as Mike says a 2 year contract and he might not even play this season but still get paid. and/or owners won’t go for load management

Lakers will be cornering the market for arthritis relief meds and wheel chairs....given the age of their roster. ;)

Carmelo Anthony — 37 years old LeBron James – 36 years old Trevor Ariza – 36 years old Marc Gasol – 36 years old Dwight Howard – 35 years old (turning 36 Dec. 8) Wayne Ellington – 33 years old Kent Bazemore – 32 years old Russell Westbrook — 32 years old

Facts are facts. You cannot win a title with these guys but unfortunately this will be LeBron's last chance and to surround him with a $444M point guard who is on the decline as well as the rest of them who will not only need arthritic meds but so also some Prevagen and Focus Factor

At least the Lakers aren't paying their star player to sit out the upcoming season.....:(

Lakers just got Kendrick Nunn of the Heat, who turned down more money with the Knicks to win a ring. He's 26, so the average age will go down by about .5 years. :D

Melo fulfills LeGM's Banana Boat dream crew. Before trade deadline, I can see LeGM will bat for a Chris Paul buyout so the whole un-retired BB crew will be in Hollywood. :D

I am typically not a Kendrick Perkins fan but he lays it on the line commenting about Kawhi Leonard in this clip.

I now see how Kendrick got hired long term by ESPN, he's got some entertainment value. In their 'suite wiggling their toes and eating steak and shrimp'. Not to mention his use of 'he were , they wuz, they doesn't.... And he rarely smiles either. :D

I agree about Kendrick Perkins. We have all been saying it

To me whenI saw Kawhi in the box and not on the sidelines I felt he has moved on but the reality is the Clippers are his best option however he won't play this year and will collect $$$$$$

Kawhi is pretty hard to like; seems it’s all about him.

Bulls are transformed with a Lavine/Vukevic/Derozan/Williams/Ball starting lineup. If Ball continues to improve and Williams emerges in his second year, they will be a very tough team. Great deal for Ball but way overpaid for Derozan IMO. New management has made their mark to put it mildly. Nice to be relevant/competitive again (on paper anyway) after a long spell of mediocrity. We’ll see if Billy Donovan can make it work. Unlike most, I’m not that impressed with him.

Bulls are back on the map. Good for your team. Unlike the Celtics, where the talk now is that they do not have a bad signing because they signed nobody. :D

Here are the free agency results for every team. Clippers have only signed Batum. I am really happy to see that the Lakers kept some youth.....well only one but for me he's the best young-layer they have had in a few years. They resign Talen Horton Tucker to a 3 year deal
Celt, Clipps and Grizz are only teams with nothing

Every reported free agency deal for all 30 teams

Keep track of every reported move before deals can be officially signed starting on Aug. 6.

My gut tells me Kawhi would like to move on but the issue is he can't play for a year so his best deal is 2 years with the Clipps who can then offer him a max deal. The lack of any comment from uncle Dennis or Clippers management or any interested team makes me wonder if the league is finally wise to him and he has zero offers to dangle infant of Ballmer. If there was anything to report we would have heard it but there's nothing as none of the teams who have made a serious attempt at rebuilding through FA have offered KL a contract. This reminds me of KD sitting out his first year with the Nets as he rehabbed for a year BUT KD is a player's player and has risen to the occasion as a true Nets player

Perhaps Ballmer is finally savvy to him and is standing pat as KL seems to be the only big name star left unsigned and Ballmer will let the dust settle and KL will sign the 2 year deal with the Clipps BUT if he does I bet he's gone in 2 years

Rob hit it right on...."it's all about KL" and his own selfish interest and pride. I just cannot forget his actions in that box with his family and Uncle Dennis and not on the sidelines with his team. He just isn't a team player. He's a human robot who has been brain washed by his uncle as to his value to a team. I hope this time the league is wise to him

This has been the only time where Kendrick Perkins got it right

A look at who's left in unsigned FA's..

Sounds like a fun team to watch
