New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

@Mike....... I think this is a good trade for the Clipps....

Eric Bledsoe returns to LA for second stint with Clippers

The Clippers have acquired the guard from the Grizzlies for Patrick Beverley, Rajon Rondo and Daniel Oturu.

I think it was a good deal for the Clippers, too. Liked him when he played for the Clippers early in his career.

Good D, slashes to the bucket well, needs to work on his 3 point shot.

Incredible coincidence or tampering when Lakers signed Rondo? Why risk penalties for Rondo, of all players, if true.

A Lakers fan web site reported that Rondo signed with the Lakers for the exact amount he gave up to get out of Memphis. How could the Lakers have possibly known what Rondo conceded to the Grizzlies to leave prior to communicating with him or his agent?

That's not what I specuated but is the question asked by Silver Screeen and Roll......hmmmm

Interesting. Maybe Rondo's learned a trick or 2 now about magic, aka tampering without getting penalized.

Does it really matter in the great scheme of things. I understand Rondo is the only Laker with 20/20 vision. The others all have seeing eye dogs or are half blinded by the light of the thought of a ring. I just don't see it

I was surprised reading this that Jamal Murray will miss most of this season What a blow for the Nuggs. How the Lakers are ranked at the top eludes me. Plus I will be interested to see with the West mostly healthy, if and how the Suns will compete this year. They had Lady Luck at their side last year

Offseason Power Rankings: Suns, Lakers emerge in West

Phoenix and the Los Angeles Lakers start on top in this early ranking of each team in the Western Conference.

Yes, absolutely. No doubt about it. ;)

And one last caveat for the day. It seems that the NBNA just cannot get enough of the Kardashians

Devin Booker holds the honor this year as he is dating Kendall Jenner who at such a young age is already worth $45M

I thought this was a very enlightening read.......

Under-the-radar concerns for seven NBA title contenders, including the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets

The big 3 in Brooklyn only played 14 games together!!!

The superstar trio of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving form the most-feared big three in the league. But that group played just 14 games together during the regular season and playoffs combined. Can they stay healthy throughout the entire season?

A quote from Rondo that cracked me up..........

"Wisdom is definitely key to winning a championship," Rondo said. "We have a lot of that, obviously, with the age and experience on the court. I'm most excited about not being the oldest guy on the team anymore. I'm actually about [fifth oldest] now, so that's a big step for me going from two months ago I was the oldest guy on the team and now I'm one of the young guys."

Just like the song, 'wise men say, only fools rush in...' :D

I thought the pic was photoshopped but apparently, Tatum is going to flex those muscles after a score, like you know who. :D

For the Suns I predict the same fate next year like the Heat had to face this year :p

I thought this was a kind gesture…..

Memphis Grizzlies to retire Zach Randolph and Tony Allen jerseys

Zach Randolph played for the Clippers during the 2008-2009 season. Lot of Clipper fans weren't happy to see him on the team as he had a questionable reputation at that point.

Clippers had a terrible record that year (19-63). It was one of those transition seasons between the Elton Brand era and the Blake Griffin era.

I will say this about Zach - he gave everything he had that year. He and Marcus Camby were the only two LAC players who played hard every game. Definitely changed my opinion of Randolph and he went on to have great seasons for the Grizzlies.

Totally agree. Your last paragraph summed it up perfectly

The Nets seem to be the real deal this year and the odds on favorite to win it all....

Report: Paul Millsap agrees to deal with Nets

Four-time All-Star Paul Millsap would bring additional frontcourt depth to the Nets.

Seaking of the Nets , IMO the departure of Mike D'Antoni can only be a plus or the Nets as he feels he is destined to be a HC again.

I have to admit that D'Antoni and Mike Brown are my least favorite coaches in the league but that is my bias due to their disastrous tenures with the Lakers

36 years of age. Looks like the oldies are fond of contenders, or is it the other way around. :)

Would't that make him a perfect candidate for the Lakers? :D
