New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

I've watched Ja Morant play several times now and at his young age and only 3rd year in the league, he is proving to be a true super star. He has moves that he seems to make up along the way

I've heard via Mike in some posts here about the Suns ownership being less than stellar but reading this........ouch

NBA launches investigation into Phoenix Suns owner after explosive ESPN report

I was talking about dumb basketball moves and poor relationships with players and coaches ....had no idea there were so many other issues within the organization. That was a blistering report.

Watching this game I have to admit the Lakers (esp Westbrook) are playing so much better without LeBron. Westbrook seems to be more at ease when James is not on the floor

40-25 Lakers early 2nd period

I must admit I am enjoying watching Carmelo play and how well he is contributing to the team. More so however I am really enjoying how the LA fans are embracing Carmelo

End of half...deja vu of the last game as OKC close the half on a 23-8 run

Lakers lead 52-48 after again having a 19 point lead only to give most of it back

Tied at 68 as Lakers give up the entire 19 point lead. OKC has only one win this season and that was a week ago against the lakers as they overcame a 26 point lead to win. Can they do it again tonight. It depends on whichLakers team will show up this 2nd half

Shai Alexander took over the game as he made a 3 pointer from the logo and OKC go on to win their 2nd game of the season. Both against the Over the Hill Gang

No matter how good these Lakers are they just don't have the legs or the defense in the 4th period to maintain. Carmelo did keep it close with his 3's but Westbrook throws away the ball on a possession where the Lakers could have tied the game. OKC once again defies the odds and come from behind. This has to be the 2nd worse loss I've seen by the Lakers both against lowly OKC

Final OKC 107-104

A major miracle as the lottery bound Celtics literally trashed the Miami Heat. Again when they were up big in the 2nd and 3rd, I shut down the TV to prevent another come from behind carnage like the Bulls game. But luckily when I tuned back in with 5 minutes left, they were still leading. First half, Tatum with 0 points and C's up double digits. Maybe that opened the doors of youngsters Langford and Nesmith, who can play if given the time. First time to see Schoerder play a great game since his time with the Thunder. I'm glad we have a human fly big in Robert Williams who can bang with Bam Adebayo muscle for muscle.

Isaiah Hartenstein, the German player the Clippers picked up, has really been playing well. He's on the floor as a 7 foot center but like a lot of other European players he has all around skill - ball handling and sharp passing among them.

Clips are his 4th NBA team. Somehow he stayed under the radar but he's looked really good so far for the Clips.
Maybe an new "German Wunderkind"...
I would like that

for me the news of the night is the Chicago Bulls who knock off the Rators to remain undefeated at 4-0
Still very early in the season.
I remember a year, not too long ago where the Wizards were at the top of Standings early in the year and then in the end of the year barely making the Playoffs ;)

not so sure I am prepared to say that the Bucks will be the leagues next dynasty. They are darn good and Giannis seems better this year than last but as for the next dynasty I am not feeling it......too many great teams. Anything is possible and health issues are always the unknown when injuries occur.....

Why Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks believe they can be the NBA's next great dynasty

I fully agree
I'm not even convinced they will repeat it this year :p

after last nights loss once again to the lowly OKC I find I am giving up already on the Lakers. If they can't take care of business on their home court to the worst team in the league, all is not well in LaLa land. They need THT back with his young legs but short of that they need youth on their side and THT is so young he could be the team mascot

I shoot the ball with my left hand but write with my right hand.
I write with my left and shoot the ball left handed however in baseball I bat right and in hockey I shoot right handed. Go figure

The Heat have been playing great and are atop the power rankings but the Celts (who haven't been doing well lately) totally humiliated the Heat last night

Good win Phil. T he start of good things to come

I was surprised as Miami has the top defense. New coach coming around.
