New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

There were 3 straight plays in OT wherein Davis was the PG and three times he went to Lebron who was posting up against a smaller Kings defender. It was like a 2-man pickup game. Talk abour ignoring a $44m point guard talent who was just watching.:D

This article says it all. I feel for Frank Vogel who hs no answer to the Lakers' recurrent collapses in the latter halves of so many game

LeBron last night had so many chances to win its because he was the only one touching the ball and shooting. He had 2 chances, one at end of regulation and a second chance in OT to win it at the free throw line but all he hit was iron. The big 3are still clowning about the loss saying they could go on a 10 game win streak and the standing would be a lot different. Nothing seems to bother them. Westbrook says he never panics and James is filled with excuses about his missed shots

The Laker dynasty that Pelinko wanted this year has fallen flat on its aging recently dyed jet black beard to hide the grey. This team is going nowhere as they become fodder for virtually every team in the league.

Rondo sat out again for unknown reasons and was doling out instructions to players from the sidelines

Frankly IMO the Lakers are an embarrassment to themselves and the league. As the saying goes, "you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear"

The team needs to be blown up and start finally with draft choices and find the talented youth that other teams are using to run rings around the Lakers. The Lakers big 3 are now a lian=bility and not an asset. LeBron will never win another ring nor will the Lakers as long as he is with the team. Frankly, I'm not so sure that I would even keep AD. The Lakers have no direction as they continue to circle the drain

Go Warriors

I heard Stephen A said after LeBron scored 38 points against the Pacers that if LeBron plays that way the Lakers will be in the Western Conference Finals.

They might be lucky to finish in the play in round. They might win a series or two but they won’t be in the WC finals

Gotta really wonder now if the Suns are beyond the hype and the luck they had last year and are indeed an excellent team and very well coached. Suns take down the Nets yesterday to extend their win streak to 16 . Same wins as GSW . They are 17-3 and Warriors are 17-2

@Mike...if the Clipps beat the GSW today they will be tied att the top of the heap. However that is a tall challenge for the Clippers even at Staples

The Suns have the best road record in the NBA at 9-1

Lakers rematch with the Pistons today at Staples. Wonder if there will be more blood between Stewart and James

Bottom line is I just can't watch the Lakers. It's too depressing to see them playing run and gun with no defense and their only hope is to score one more point than their opponents. Too many errant passes and turnovers and missed easy shots.

Too nice a day here, so my entire family who has been here since Thanksgiving are going to see the new Ghost Busters movie. I'm hoping it will be funnier than watching the lakers play the Pistons

Clips holding their own so far, tied 40-40 with 2 minutes left in the first half

Curry gets hot, Warriors pulling away.

As Chick Hearn would say - the jello is jiggling. Game over.

Here is the stat of the season for the Lakers that I heard tonight …,they have only won ONE game by double digits this season. I wasn’t fooling when I said they are run and gun hoping to score only one point more than their opponent and not worry about defense

A look at the East today showed that only 4 games separate the top 11 teams with the Sixers mired in 11th place.

Bucks are on a 7 game win streak and only 1 1/2 games out of first (tied with the Bulls)

Both the Celts and the Lakers are both still in the play in bottom but the Celts have looked good as of late

I continue to shudder watching the Lakers play the 3rd and 4th periods of games they hold big leads as incvaiably they choke down the stretch. Last night I was willing to think in the 3rd that with a 19 point lead they will easily win. In the 4th they collapsed and the Pistons brought it to within 4 points before they lost. You cannot not play defense in this league and expect to win

So far I am seeing the top 4 teams as Bucks, Nets and GSW, Suns but the east is so tight that anything can happen. Whose side will Lady Luck be on this year

The season BTW is 1/4 over and the GSW are 18-2 with a .900 win %

The last time we saw anything better (in modern era) was when Luke was interim HC while Steve Kerr recovered from back surgery and the GSW started the season with a win streak of 24 games

I think if the EC final was between Nets and Bucks and in the West between the GSW and the Suns it will be an exciting end to the season

My prediction barring any injuries or other health issues...... this is going to be Steph and the GSW to take it all. I think however that both the Warriors and the Suns are stronger this year so if the Suns make it to the Championship round I believe they too will be better prepared this year

Strange spiraling down of Kemba Walker. He is not only a bench player with the Knicks, he is benched. For $34m. Something's got to be wrong with all these agents and CBA negotiations. :D Next would be buy out.

Looking at the scores it seems that there are always upsets but I was surprised to see the Cavs knock off the Mavs

Sixers finally win and im noticing the Pels are up over the Clipps late in the game and Houston is finally revving it’s engines and on a bit of a win streak

Clipps lose to the Pels. Tough loss Mike. I know the pain

it was exciting to watch the Melo and Lonzo playing last night in a high scoring game in which the Bulls won

Portland can’t seem to tight the ship. Is it the team and/ or new coach Chauncey. If it continues I would have to wonder if Lillard will be traded
