New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Maybe following the Gary Payton Jr.'s success. :D

I still can't imagine how LeBron is going to make the script real, to play with Bronnie. Like he has the power to take out Bronnie from the team that drafted him (assuming the kids gets drafted) and make the Lakers (assuming he is still there in 2 years time) trade for Bronnie. That is really a tall order. And what if Bronnie gets drafted in the second round, like 56th pick, will he even see the hardcourt or the G-league?
according to the report, not even close o_O Put in a calll for Bronnie to save the day

Just saw a First Take segment that had Vegas putting the Nets number 2 behind the Warriors to win the title next season. All because Kyrie opted in? :D

Just like Kyrie, he's not fool to turn down such a big amount.
INMO Westbrook carries more baggage. At least Kyrie can play basketball (whenever he decides to play, of course). Westbrook is a $44M over the hill has been who still thinks he's good. He must be working on his scowl this year

I just don't know what Vegas bookmakers see in the Nets. Last year they were picked to win it and almost didn't make the playoffs. My guess is KD will be gone from the Nets

I think one of the biggest unknowns this year in FA is Suns Ayton. He didn't have as stellar a year this past year but he's young, tall and fast. Maybe the Lakers could trade AD for Ayton just to put some youth beside ancient LeBron

Hmm. I see you forgot Carmelo Anthony I wonder if Lakers will put him out to pasture or pull a Pelinka and re-sign him
Whereas Carmelo would have earned a re-sign IMHO

Happy days are here again for the Lakers......

Sources: Russell Westbrook picks up $47.1M option to remain with Los Angeles Lakers

Who would have guessed :D

Only one way to go.
LeBJ has to buy the Lakers :p

When the Lakers traded for AD, he was still young, tall and fast.

I can’t disagree with that He still can shoot the ball.

AD last season was a non factor on the team. I would trade all3 of them and get draft choices and young fast players who can keep up with the rest of the league

another reason why I feel Pelinka has no vision for the Lakers. I would dump Westbrook in a heart beat. His days of greatness are well behind hm. Maybe it is Pelinka's way of kindly saying that no one wants Westbrook and they are stuck with him at $44M per year

Rob Pelinka, Lakers ready to 'embrace' Russell Westbrook if he opts in
With the 2022 Draft behind them, the Lakers say they want to help Russell Westbrook find renewed success in 2022-23 should he return to L.A.

Agreed on ’the way of kindly saying no one wants Westbrook’. Not a whole lot of choice for Pelinka/Lakers. Who in their right mind would pay Westbrook 1/2 that much?

I was reading on Bleacher report all day yesterday that Kyrie was coming to the Lakers

LA Lakers' Top Trade and Free-agency Targets After Kyrie Irving Picks Up Nets Option

Sounds like Lavine is leaning toward resigning with the Bulls. Sure hope so.

Kyrie and Westbrook in the same back court?

A report from NBA insider Brian Windhorst discusses the contract situation and whether it’s over yet.

“I know that there are people in the league, and we’re not talking about ancillary people, we’re talking about high-ranking people, who believe that this is not done. I don’t know. Let me just say this about the Lakers. He obviously was very interested in joining the Lakers. The Lakers were very interested in having him.”
Rumors were circulating that the Lakers did make an offer to Brooklyn, including a package with Russel Westbrook but the team was uninterested. The Nets absolutely won’t take any Westbrook-Irving swap, so the Lakers will need to trade away more assets.
