New Avantgarde Duo Mezzo G3

Dear Mike, do you recall which preamp they are using for this phasemation 211 with Mezzo? Thanks!
Hello, I hope Mike doesn't mind if I answer.

The preamp was the Phasemation CM-2200. This is a passive preamp. It has both balanced and SE inputs. Despite it being a passive preamp it also has a switch in the back that allows for an additional 6dB of gain if needed. We did not use this at AXPONA.
thanks Todd, here is my picture of the electronics stack from my picture thread.

Hello, We used the MA-1500's in the UnoSD room at AXPONA. It will fully drive the UnoSD. I also used the MA-1500 on my pair of DuoGT's and it worked without any issues. As the bass is fully driven by the built i amplifier there is very little stress on the partnering amplifier.

If I might ask, how big is your room?

I should note that I did not listen to both the MA1500 and the MA2000 driving the Uno SD so I can't really comment on the sonic performance differences. The MA-1500 did have a sweetness that I liked at AXPONA. Both are going to drive the speaker. I just can't tell you which you might like better.

Thanks. Good to know MA-1500 can drive well. My room is approximately 11.5 feet wide, 13.8 feet long, 9.5 feet high.

...I heard these Mezzo Duo G3s (think I have that right) in Singapore last week, and wow were they terrific. This was a used pair for sale. Sadly, the Trios were not being run, and as a visitor, I couldn't really ask how about it?! But man did I want to hear them!
