On the subject of tweaks!

I need a few for my RTR's....12awg

Bob,
It would be nice if you amended your post saying specifically that these are NOT the Ching Cheng power cables endorsed by David. Otherwise distracted people who have not be following regularly WBF can buy them by mistake.

Francisco, I had zero clue that those were not the the ones David has.
I googled Ching Cheng and that's what I got...I know that they are twice as expensive as some mentioned before but with Amazon you do pay more sometimes. Best is to buy from David to get the real thing @ the real deal. My intention was pure and never in my life would I bifurcate from that state.

Unobtanium $10 pwr cords for high worth systems. What a concept.

This one looks pretty much like the same type of connectors Steve posted above ...
https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-14...3C06S7VN76J&psc=1&refRID=GTZ9DAZ1C3C06S7VN76J

And looking @ the serial number on one of the connectors it is the same here as Steve's photo shows ...

20191113_113709.jpg

And same for the one I posted before but one connector is different ...
https://www.amazon.com/ExpressUSA-C...EPN402M3X8Z&psc=1&refRID=B9S2KRRR4EPN402M3X8Z

So, the first link has the same type of connectors Steve showed us...Monoprice.
Instead of the smaller connector being black it is blue translucide here.

So, please anyone educate me in the art of power cables because for twenty bucks I see no difference. ...Same connectors, same serial number, same price within few dollars.
It is my opinion that the other power cables I posted for the same money, with hospital grade connectors are more attractive financially, solidity, assurance, insurance and I bet they are as naturally performing as Ching Cheng.

* This one is rated @ 15 Amp (the others above are 10A) ... I really don't known if that would make a difference in "neutrality" sound ... zero idea.

15A here as well ...

@Steve Williams are you using Chengs or Master Built in your system?

I use Ching Cheng PC's for my entire front end except for the Extreme which I have a MB Ultra PC

I use MB PC's for my amps and I have a complete loom of Masterbuilt Ultra IC's connecting the entire system

EL701 is just a general number for the connector type. The cable is AWG 14. Probably original CC with David blessing will soon become precious, even more valuable than unobtainium Decca vinyl! ;). The one you photographed looks NOS!

It is

Bob

I put up pictures as well as the code for the cable. Now can you please let it go

We are talking tweaks and audio power cables, this is the topic and people want to find out where to get those cables. If you think I'm impeding on you or anyone else, it's best that we start being friendly for good here. That's my ultimate goal...is it also yours...friendly and helpful to our audio community, Steve?

Bob,

You are probably non intentionally posting confusing and very misleading information about the cables David recommended. David is looking for proper information on their availability. Please wait a little.

David listened to many types of cables and found a single specific power cable made by the Ching Cheng company that attracted his attention because of its sound qualities and some of us consider of great interest. We are NOT interested in why or in other similar cables.

Any specific reason other than price for not using MB Ultra PCs in the DAC, phono stages and preamplfier?

Simply put, the CC are more than adequate. TBH I am betting the CC would perform fine on the Extreme. I Prefer MB Ultra PC's for my amps
