Presidential Debate: The Heck Happened???

I think Win meant "accountant". Obama looks like he is running on fumes. Always appeared to be out of his depth, but now it really shows.
Hmmm, if he is an accountant, then he can't wiggle out of responsibility for "Son of Boss" while on the Board of Directors.

Not exactly. Just look at the number of Executive Orders that have been issued by our current President versus any other President in our history. Executive Orders give the ability of the sitting President to do whatever he wants and bypass the desires of Congress or the wishes of the American People.
I am so tired of citizens not fact checking things on both sides.

That is the point, I think both parties are at fault and individuals so hung up on ideology that they just don't give a sh**.

Just in case you missed it, this is a shortened version of the debate that still preservers all the key issues:

I haven't really participated in any off topic threads here, but I'm reluctant to start with this one, only because i don't know how you can discuss the debate without discussing the politics and I don't want to get banned. I have pretty strong feelings about it, so maybe it's better than I can't. :)

you're right Bill

we don't discuss politics here for obvious reasons

Romney looked over rehearsed to me while Obama looked lost after the initial salvo. Like Amir said, he wasn't prepared for the attack that came from left field.

...RIGHT field...as in CORRECT field

I don't think Obama was prepared for Romney to completely reverse himself on the key issues, on the spot. I know I wasn't. It was otherworldly. Should a guy of the POTUS' status be left speechless by it? Probably not, but when someone steps up to the podium and just flatly denies his own recent positions (taxes and the Arab/Israeli conflict), and portrays himself as a completely different person (a teary-eyed empath who believes we should help the less fortunate vs the guy who thought 47% of the country is dependent on government and unwilling to take responsibility for their own lives) what's the spontaneous comeback to that which won't come off as a personal attack?
